A small number of people have reported that after upgrading to macOS Catalina (10.15), the 'Hide Amphetamine in the Dock' no longer functions.
To fix this issue, double-check you don't have Amphetamine listed in the Login Items list found in → System Preferences → Users & Groups → Current User → Login Items
